I was born in Korea but grew up in the United States. After moving back to Korea for college and to serve in the military, I went back to the States and got my masters in theology with a concentration in Intercultural Studies from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Deerfield, IL. It is a great honor to be able to serve God and His people wherever He places me and I am enjoying every moment of serving here at AIM! I am married to my beautiful wife Rachel and we have three lovely children, Elizabeth, David, and Daniel.
I've been a pastor for 30 years mostly in the United States and now Korea. I've worked in the area of pastoral counseling for over 10 years being trained through CCEF. I have a wonderful wife, Lisa, and five amazing children. In addition, Lisa and I have 10 grandchildren! Alyssa, our youngest child is with us in Korea and is studying at Kyungsung University here in Busan. Lisa and I started NK Missions over 5 years ago, a mission organiza-tion serving North Korean defector students.
I serve as an academic professor at Kosin University and a graduate / postgraduate research supervisor of South African Theological Seminary. I earned my Ph.D. in Theology in Systematic Theology and Ethics. I have been serving as a pastor in South Korea since 2010 and love to serve both the international and Korean communities. I hope and pray to be a bridge of unity among God's people. Jean (Ji Eun) and I have three gorgeous children, Kayla, Ariel, and Ethan.
